What I’ve Learned About Myself This Year 2025 (So Far)

2025 didn’t come to play.
It came with transitions, clarity, gentle endings, unexpected beginnings, and a loud reminder to choose me.
And somewhere in between balancing motherhood, building a brand, learning new skills, earning online, and sipping lukewarm coffee at 2pm, I stumbled into parts of myself I didn’t even know were waiting to be found.
Here are some of the things I’ve learned about myself so far this year—raw, unfiltered, and full of grace.

1. I Am Allowed to Outgrow Versions of Me
There was a time I celebrated being the girl who "held everything together."
But this year taught me that survival is not a personality.
I don’t have to keep proving I’m strong by carrying what’s already breaking me. It’s okay to let go, say no, rest, and rise again—new.
2. I Am Not Lazy—I Was Burnt Out
When your whole life is wrapped around giving, serving, solving, and surviving, rest feels like rebellion.
But this year? I reclaimed rest.
Not as an escape, but as a right. As a strategy. As a necessity. I no longer measure my worth by productivity.
I’ve learned that “sitting down” doesn’t mean you’re falling behind. Sometimes, it means you're catching up with your own soul.
3. I Learn Fast When I Feel Safe
I never knew how much emotional safety affects how quickly I thrive.
Being in spaces where I’m not over-explaining, over-apologizing, or underestimating myself has unlocked a version of me that’s wildly creative, deeply intuitive, and quietly confident.
Your girl? She learns fast. But only when she feels free.
4. I’m Not Made for Hustle Culture
Yes, I’m ambitious. Yes, I want soft life with soft sheets, soft food, and direct deposit.
But I’m not killing myself to get it.
This year I embraced ease. Not laziness. Ease.
That means using tools that simplify my work, automating where I can, and sharing what I know with people who need it—without gatekeeping.
If you're ready to explore that kind of freedom, check out the digital tools and curated learning guides I use to earn online. No pressure. Just options.
5. I’m Becoming My Own Home
There were days I felt unrooted—floating between cultures, cities, identities.
But the more I learned to sit with myself, speak kindly to myself, and celebrate even the small wins, the more I realized I’m building a home within.
Wherever I go, I carry peace. And peace looks good on me.
Final Thoughts
What I’ve learned about myself this year is that healing doesn’t always come with fireworks. Growth doesn’t always come with noise.
Sometimes, it looks like small shifts, quiet awakenings, and gentle boundaries.
I’m not who I used to be. And I’m not yet who I’m becoming. But I like her. A lot.
